Recycling Your Christmas Tree?

Please call to verify! As dates, times and locations are subject to change, Earth911.com encourages you to call ahead to verify all pertinent information before bringing your Christmas tree for recycling. They are heavy and will probably get dried needles all over your car, so we don't want you to waste your time when you're trying to do something good. This event occurs from Wednesday December 26th through Friday February 15th and is sponsored by the Metro Parks & Recreation and Metro Public Works departments.

Collected trees will be mulched at the Nashville's Bordeaux Mulch Facility.

Natural brown mulch, made from Christmas trees and yard brush, is sold at the Bordeaux facility. The facility is open Monday-Saturday from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. For more information, call 862-8640.
