They are heavy and will probably get dried needles all over your car, so we don't want you to waste your time when you're trying to do something good. Denver residents can also call 3-1-1 or visit the website for more information. For the 2012-13 season, collection is available from December 31 through January 11.
All trees collected through the program will be chipped into mulch and given away to Denver residents in the spring.
