The City of Austin offers a single-stream recycling program, so all recyclables go in a 90-gallon blue cart that is collected every other week. Please rinse all containers and place the caps or lids in the cart as well.
Recycling must be at the curb by 5:30am on your collection day. Please place your recycling cart about 5 feet away from your trash cart and other objects.
Austin Resource Recovery provides bundled services to manage trash, recycling and yard trimmings. Costs are based on trash cart size, and four trash cart sizes are available. Choose the size that best fits your household’s needs. Save money on your utility bill by recycling as much as possible, setting aside yard trimmings for composting collection, and choosing a smaller trash cart.
