The Solid Waste Authority provides garbage and recycling collection for the residents and businesses of unincorporated Palm Beach County. The SWA provides this service using contract haulers. If you live in a municipality, please contact your city.

Residents receiving curbside recycling container service are allowed unlimited 18 gallon yellow or blue recycling bins provided by the Solid Waste Authority for recycling use only. Collection takes place once per week. Please have bins curbside by 6am the day of collection.

Paper items must be placed in the yellow bin and plastic, metal, and glass must be placed in the blue bin. Please rinse all containers, remove lids and caps, crush if possible, and flatten boxes to conserve space.
