They are heavy and will probably get dried needles all over your car, so we don't want you to waste your time when you're trying to do something good. Waste management offers free collection and recycling of real Christmas trees. Up to 14 days after Christmas, your may leave your tree on the curb on your scheduled collection day along with your carts. These trees will be recycled, so please REMOVE all tinsel, garland, ornaments, lights, and stands. Trees must be no longer than 6 feet in length. If your tree was taller than 6 feet, please cut it in half to create two shorter pieces.
Flocked trees will be accepted but cannot be recycled.
