The City of San Antonio hosts several mobile collection events for residents to safely dispose of household hazardous waste (HHW). They can also drop off HHW seasonally at the Bitters Brush Recycling Center, or the permanent facility on Culebra Road. Please call or visit the website for details on the next event.
A copy of your recent CPS Energy bill is necessary to support proof of residency. Please bring materials in their original containers.
Approximately 80% of all materials collected through the City of San Antonio HHW Program are recycled. Materials that cannot be recycled are disposed of by a licensed hazardous materials treatment, storage and disposal facility.
