Curbside collection of containerized yard waste occurs weekly. All residential properties in the City of Sacramento must use containers for yard waste disposal. Yard waste must not be placed in the street - except during leaf season. Customers who need additional yard waste service can order an additional container, schedule a household junk pick-up, or request a free dump coupon.

Containers should be at the curb by 6am the morning of your collection. Please make sure the lid is completely closed and allow 3 feet between containers. Containers should be placed on the street 6 feet from cars, mailboxes and other obstructions.
