They are heavy and will probably get dried needles all over your car, so we don't want you to waste your time when you're trying to do something good. Holiday Tree Collection!
You can recycle your holiday tree by cutting it up and placing it in your yard waste container. A special collection for holiday trees will also be provided starting December 26 through January 5. This collection is provided free-of-charge on your regular collection day by a separate truck during this two week period. No appointment is required; just remove the decorations and the stand and place your tree along side your regular containers. Trees larger than six feet tall must be cut in half. Please do not bag your tree. Sorry, flocked trees cannot be recycled and will require a special pickup.
