City of Phoenix now offers Green Recycling option ($5 per month additional on your bill). They provide a separate dumpster (curbside only) for depositing yard waste, tree trimmings, leaves, brush, grass clippings, etc. No palm fronds or pyracantha accepted though. Pickup is same day as regular trash/recycle pickup.

Christmas trees are accepted for curbside pick-up seasonally. Please call for details.

Bulk trash consists mainly of those materials that cannot be placed in your green/black garbage container or recycled in your blue recycling container. Bulk trash is currently collected from city-serviced residences four times each year. Material cannot be placed out for collection more than one week prior to the week of collection, since it is important to keep neighborhoods and our city looking clean and beautiful.

Also, for a nominal fee, electronics can be picked up after setting up a collection by calling or emailing pwserve@phoenix.gov. Please make sure to supply the type and quantity of materials to be collected as well as your name, address and phone. Collection will not be possible without this information. Please put no more than five (5) items at front of property just behind the sidewalk or behind the curb if there is no sidewalk.

Services are restricted to Phoenix solid waste fee paying customers.
