Yard waste is picked up curbside March 15th to January 15th each year. This program does not accept aerosol cans, paint cans, oil, antifreeze, margarine, cool whip, yogurt, or cottage cheese containers, flower pots, plate glass, mirrors, light bulbs, drinking glasses, dishes, or ceramics.

Aluminum Cans	pickup	none	This program accepts cans that have been rinsed clean with the lids removed. Please place metal lids inside the containers.
Aluminum Foil	pickup	none	This program also accepts aluminum plates.
Brown Glass	pickup	none	This program accepts glass that has been rinsed clean with the lids removed.
Brush	pickup	none	Please make sure materials fit into the bags. Please take large amounts of brush directly to the landfill.
Car Batteries	pickup	none	Please secure caps on automotive batteries and place them next to your recycling bin.
Cardboard	pickup	none	This program accepts clean corrugated cardboard that has been flattened and cut to no more than two feet by four feet in size. Please tie it in bundles no higher than twelve inches and place next to your recycling bin. DO NOT RECYCLE waxed or plastic coated cardboard.
Clear Glass	pickup	none	This program accepts glass that has been rinsed clean with the lids removed.
Clothing	pickup	none	This program accepts clothing that is clean and usable. Please put it in a plastic bag no larger than the thirteen gallon size, preferably in a clear bag, otherwise label the bag "clothing". Only one bag will be collected each week. Please place clothing bag next to your recycle bin. DO NOT RECYCLE shoes, toys, or dishes.

Magazines	pickup	none	Please place magazines in paper grocery bags or tie them in bundles no larger than twelve inches and place them next to your recycling bin or you may put these items directly into your green bin.
Newspaper	pickup	none	Please place newspapers in paper grocery bags or tie them in bundles no larger than twelve inches and place them next to your recycling bin or you may put these items directly into your green bin.
Tin or Steel Cans	pickup	none	This program accepts cans that have been rinsed clean with the lids removed. Please place metal lids inside the containers. You do not need to remove labels.
Tree Trimmings	pickup	none	Please make sure materials fit into the bags. Please take large amounts of tree trimmings directly to the landfill.
Used Motor Oil	pickup	none	Please place used motor oil in non-breakable containers with a tight fitting screw top lid. Please place it next to your recycling bin. A MAXIMUM of two gallons per week will be taken.
