The City of Brighton offers Christmas tree recycling December 26, 2012 through January 13, 2013
Residents may Christmas trees at the following locations:
- Brighton Park south parking lot (9th and Midland)
- Brighton Sports Complex (1111 Judicial Center Drive)
- Ken Mitchell Park (889 Kinglet Court)
Residents are asked to remove everything from the tree before dropping it off. Only Christmas trees will be accepted. No yard waste, tree limbs, or wreathes will be allowed.
Curbside pickup of Christmas trees will take place Jan. 7 and 8. Residents must place their tree on the curb by 7 am in order to be picked up.
Trees will be chipped and mulch will be available Jan. 15 on a first come, first serve basis at Brighton Park
south parking lot off Midland Street.
The Christmas tree recycling program is sponsored by the City of Brighton Parks, Trails and Open Space
