Residents of Napa County can drop-off a variety of non-recyclable hazardous materials from their households, free of charge, at the Hazardous Waste Collection Facility.
For highway safety, there is a legal limit of 15 gallons or 125 pounds of hazardous waste per trip.
Businesses that create small amounts of hazardous wastes - no more than 220 pounds or 27 gallons of hazardous materials per month - may also use the Hazardous Waste Collection Facility, but must pay a fee to leave hazardous products or materials there. Qualifying businesses must schedule an appointment before delivering materials to this site by calling 1 (800) 984-9661.
This site will not collect any radioactive materials, explosives, ammunition, or PCBs.
