WLSSD Materials Recovery Center - Updated Feb 23, 2022

This site is operated by the Western Lake Superior Sanitary District. It has extended hours from April to October. It is open Monday to Thursday 10am to 5pm, Friday and Saturday 8am to 4pm.

Please separate recyclables into three groups: bottles/cans, mixed paper and corrugated cardboard. Look for the bins that correspond with each group.

Food waste in compostable bags is collected in a separate container near the MRC gatehouse. These bags are available free of charge.
