Site is part of the Bunker Hills Regional Park in Coon Rapids. This site accepts leaves, grass clippings, weeds, garden wastes, soft-bodied non-woody plant prunings, residential quantities of sod, acorns, pine needles and food scraps/organics. Debagged yard waste from Anoka County residents is accepted. Please unload your yard waste and take your bags or containers home. When available, finished unscreened compost may be picked up on first come, first served basis for non-commercial use only. Be sure to bring your own containers and shovel. This site is open April through November (weather permitting). Closed Easter Sunday, Memorial Day (observed), Independence Day, Labor Day and Thanksgiving.
