501 Tunnel Ave
San Francisco, CA 94134
Only residents of San Francisco may use the facility and waste must be from their own home. This site requires proof of SF residency, such as a driver's license or utility bill showing a San Francisco address. Use of the facility is free (it is funded through your garbage bills).
With the exception of cooking oil, you may not transport more than 15 gallons of waste to the facility at one time. When you estimate the amount of waste you have, count the actual volume of material. For example, if you have 20 one-gallon cans, and they are all half full, the total is 10 gallons.
Please call or visit the website for more information.
