The Dalles Disposal Transfer Station accepts yard debris for disposal, with free disposal during the months of April and November. The company also offers a yard debris collection service by subscription.
Earth Machine compost bins are available for sale at the transfer station, courtesy of the TriCounty Hazardous Waste & Recycling Program which encourages backyard composting as a way to reduce waste.
