Hood River Garbage Service Transfer Station accepts yard debris for disposal, with free disposal on Wednesdays. Earth Machine compost bins are available for sale at the transfer station, courtesy of the TriCounty Hazardous Waste & Recycling Program which encourages backyard composting as a way to reduce waste.
