Have your tree chipped for use as alternative fuel or compost. This program is free to Cowlitz County residents, and the sites are open 24 hours. This program is sponsored by the City of Longview Recycling, City of Kelso Recycling, Cowlitz County Recycling, and the Department of Ecology.
