Please call to verify! As dates, times and locations are subject to change, Earth911.com encourages you to call ahead to verify all pertinent information before bringing your Christmas tree for recycling. They are heavy and will probably get dried needles all over your car, so we don't want you to waste your time when you're trying to do something good. This site is located near the north parking lot adjacent to Marilyn Williams Drive (east of the pavilion and playground).
Christmas trees can be recycled by dropping them off at either Hafer Park or Mitch Park by Friday, January 11, 2013. Trees are chipped, and free cedar mulch is available for residents to pick up at Mitch Park after February 8, 2013.
If residents are unable to drop off their tree, residential customers can schedule a special, free collection during the week of January 7. Call the tree-cycling hotline at (405) 359-4701 between December 30 and January 6 to be placed on the schedule. Collection will be provided during the week starting Monday, January 7 and ending Friday, January 11.
