The East Greenwich Transfer Station is located on Crompton Avenue between the Town Boat Ramp and the Sewage Treatment Plant.
Cars, registered to town residents, can receive a Transfer Station Sticker free of charge. They can be obtained from the Department of Public Works (D.P.W.) located in the lower level of the School Administration Building at 111 Peirce Street.
Residents’ noncommercial pickup trucks and trailers require a ticket per visit. Twelve tickets are available annually for residents only. (obtain tickets at D.P.W.)
Please remove lids, empty and rinse all food and beverage containers and flatten if possible. Paper items must be contained in a paper bag.
