The Household Hazardous Waste Facility provides citizens of Walla Walla and Columbia Counties an outlet to properly manage their household hazardous waste.
This facility is conveniently located at the Walla Walla Sudbury Road Landfill. From Walla Walla go west on Highway 12. Turn right onto Sudbury Road and watch for sign on right.
To use the facility make sure all containers are sealed, labeled, secure, and not leaking. If a container is leaking put material into another container of the same material type. (i.e.: Plastic if plastic, etc.) Keep materials in their original containers whenever possible and do not mix chemicals together. Please inform the attendant at the facility of any unlabeled / unknown containers. Do not smoke while visiting the facility. Remain in your vehicle and please leave your pets and children at home.
