Please rinse glass and plastic containers clean and remove all lids, caps, and pumps. Please remove straws and caps from cartons and drink boxes. This site does not accept for recycling: egg cartons, waxed cardboard, soda or beer holders/cartons, styrofoam in any form, light bulbs, windows, dishes, glasses, ceramics, or eyeglasses. The clean portions of pizza boxes may be recycled.
This site also has a Swap Shop for anything reusable including small appliances, sporting equipment, and other items. Clean clothing is accepted at the clothing exchange.
There is a fee to drop-off some items including bulky items. Home compost bins are available from the Solid Waste District; call 413-772-2438 for info.
