The Transfer Station/Recycling Center is located at 84 Hopewell Woods Road off Route 58 (intersection of Hopewell & Beck Rd.)
The Center is closed on Tuesdays,Thursdays, Sundays and legal holidays. Any closings due to weather conditions, etc. will be announced over WLAD 800AM and WDAQ 98.3FM.
Please rinse all containers, remove caps, crush if possible, and flatten boxes to conserve space.
No Styrofoam or Plastic Bags, however they may be disposed in bulk for a fee.
Permits may be purchased at the Transfer Station/Recycling Center or at Town Hall during normal business hours. Residential permits are valid for one year, July 1 to June 30, and each vehicle must display a permit.
Chargeable items include garbage, demolition materials, metal, bulky waste (sofa, mattress), large appliances and tires, car batteries. A fee schedule is available at the Recycling Center or at Town Hall.
