Recycling has been mandatory in Columbia County since 1989. There is no charge for residents recycling acceptable materials.
All glass, tin and aluminum and plastic containers may be mixed together, and all recyclable paper products may be mixed together. Please make sure your recyclable products are free from any outer packaging and do not flatten your tin and aluminum cans.
Businesses in need of proper disposal of your electronics, may contact the Solid Waste Department at (518) 828-2737 for further instruction.
