The Town's solid waste and recycling facility is open to the residents of Millinocket and the residents of the unorganized territories of IP3, IP4, T3 R9 NWP, TA R7 WELS, Long A, Hopkins Academy Grant, Veazie Gore, T I R8 WELS and T2 R8 WELS in Penobscot County and T1 R9 WELS, TA R10 Piscataquis County. All users must pay the appropriate disposal fees and separate recyclables items from their trash.
The Compost Facility is open Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday 8am to 3:45pm.
