Please call 3-1-1 or visit austintexas.gov/dropoff to schedule your visit. This location accepts household hazardous materials for free from Austin and Travis County residents. Business waste is not accepted, please call 512-974-4335 for information about disposing of commercial hazardous waste.
Residents may bring up to 30 gallons of home-generated hazardous waste to the Household Hazardous Waste Facility free of charge. If you bring more than 30 gallons of hazardous waste, you may be charged at cost for the disposal of the extra waste.
Please do not bring items in containers with more than 5 gallons of capacity. Do not mix materials, please drop them off in their original containers.
This site also offers a reuse store for free pick-up of reusable materials.
