The Building Materials Resource Center accepts building materials that are in good to excellent condition and that are on our list of high-demand items. All donated items must be in excellent working order.
While we do our best to ascertain the appropriateness of a potential donation over the phone (or via email), there is no substitute for actually seeing the product. Therefore, our truck driver has the authority to refuse items that he/she determines to be inappropriate for use in our program.
As a small nonprofit organization, we must be careful in our acceptance of donations so that we are not forced to absorb the cost of throwing out items that are not of use to our customers.
