Users will be directed to drop off their leaves and grass clippings at the designated area. If the materials are brought in bags, users are requested to empty the bags and reuse them for further collection.

All grass clippings and leaves collected are incorporated in with the City's biosolids. The composted biosolids material is available year-round for Louisville residents at no charge. The biosolids material is a great soil amendment that can be used in flower beds, lawns, gardens, and other landscaped areas.
