This organization does not accept or pick-up hazardous waste. Federal and state landfill regulations do not prohibit the disposal of household hazardous waste in lined municipal solid waste landfills. The State of Georgia has not mandated or required its communities to provide non-disposal options for household hazardous waste (HHW).

Georgia residents are legally allowed to dispose of solid household hazardous waste in their garbage however caution should be taken to properly contain and not mix the HHW materials being disposed. At this time, this is the recommended action if residents are unable to use up or give away their hazardous products.
