Single-family homes have the option of curbside pick-up by city staff which also includes yard waste collection.

Yard waste includes lawn trimmings, leaves, vines, brush, and garden waste. Yard waste does NOT include any non-biodegradable material. The City provides this service on the scheduled refuse collection day from mid April through mid December.

Loose yard waste must be placed in biodegradable bags or 32-gallon containers with handles marked for yard waste disposal. Stickers to designate cans for yardwaste area available, free of charge at the City Utility Office or by contacting the Customer Service Request Line at 203-1810. Leaf Season runs thorough mid December.

All other yardwaste must be bundled and tied with a biodegradable string in dimensions not to exceed 4 feet in length and 18 inches in diameter and weighing less than 50 pounds in weight.
