Place yard waste at the curb before 7am on your designated collection day in paper bags weighing no more than 50 pounds. Place paper lawn bags and stacks of cuttings at least two feet away from your recycling and/or refuse containers so they will not interfere with automated collection. Biodegradable paper bags may be purchased at local retail stores, City Warehouse or Custer Road Facility. Yard waste is processed at the Regional Composting Facility and is marketed as Texas Pure compost, topdressing, soil blend and wood mulch.
