Yard waste is picked up by a separate truck on the residents' second garbage day of the week and taken to a commercial facility for composting. To participate, residents should place grass, leaves, flowers, stalks, stems and trimmings in an opaque bag that bio degrades rapidly at curbside on their collection day. The weight of the bag should not exceed 35 pounds.
