As part of its Household Chemical Reuse program, the City of Plano Sustainability & Environmental Services Department provides a collection service for household chemical waste generated by Plano residences. Each zip code is assigned a pick-up day, and you must call to schedule an appointment at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled day.

You will be instructed to place the items in a box marked "chemicals" at your collection point by 7am, at least 2 feet from your refuse and recycling containers. This is a separate service from your regular garbage, recycling and landscape waste collection.

There is a 15-gallon or 50 pound limit for each collection. Each collection will be charged a fee. Residents can also visit the Chemical Reuse Center to obtain reusable products for free.
