The cities of Biddeford, Old Orchard Beach, Saco and Scarborough hold several annual events for residents to safely dispose of household hazardous waste (HHW) at the cities' Public Works offices.
Please call or visit the website for details on the next event, and residency restrictions. Pre-registration is strongly recommended, and proof or residency is required.
Please keep materials in original labeled containers and pack them upright and padded with newspaper. Please sort and pack paint, pesticides and household cleaners separately.
All Maine residents are able to bring hazardous products year-round to the HHW facilities in Lewiston and Portland.
