This site is only open April through December. These events are for residential use only; commercial amounts strictly prohibited.

Relocated to the Department of Public Works (off of Radio Station Road). Residential amounts of HHW accepted free of charge.

Please keep the materials in their original containers whenever possible and appropriately mark any container that does not have a readable, original label. Please bring HHW containers in cardboard boxes to help ease unloading.

Non-Acceptable Items include:

Ammunition
Bio/Medical Wastes (sharps, needles, body fluids)
Commercial amounts of Hazardous Waste

Used motor oil, antifreeze, propane tanks, and batteries are accepted on a regular basis at our recycling centers. It is not necessary to wait until an HHW collection day to discard these materials.

Latex paint can be placed in your household trash as long as it is solidified. This can be accomplished by adding kitty litter, shredded paper, old rags, or sawdust to the liquid latex paint to aid in drying it out.
