They are heavy and will probably get dried needles all over your car, so we don't want you to waste your time when you're trying to do something good. Christmas trees will be collected curbside beginning December 31 until January 11 on your regularly scheduled trash day. The tree must have a compost sticker to be picked up. The cost for the sticker is $1.15 and can be obtained at City Hall (407 8th St. SE).
