If you have knowledge of the type of material your carpet is made of, that will give us information to properly dispose of this in the most green way possible. Some carpets are made from wool and cotton and other natural fibers that can be composted, but many other carpets are made of artificial fibers which cannot be composted. We love to be green if it possible, and only you can provide the information we need to be able to act on our mission! Together we can prevent carpet going into landfills!

All clothes get re-purposed. Depending on what the type of clothing is, and the material it is made out of. For example, we separate all jean and denim material, and donate it to a local farmer than uses the denim material as a filter for processing his cooking oil into bio diesel fuel. The jeans provide a 5 micron filter, and removes a majority of the harmful particles in the oil, that restrict the production of the bio diesel. Other clothes get directly donated to churches, charities, and programs around the area to support community help and growth.

Must specify if any appliances still contain Freon, gas, or any other type of hazardous chemicals. This is to ensure that the site passes on this information to the facility that processes these items. They will have to go into a separate category to get stripped of it hazardous materials before it can be broken down into individual recyclable pieces of metal and parts.

Depending on the amount and type of metal you have, this type of pickup may be free of charge. This site may also have drop off options if it is a small quantity. The more you have of metal, the less you pay to remove.
