Montgomery County provides once-a-week curbside recycling collection service to all residents of single-family and town homes, except for those in municipalities.
Please separate your recyclables between the blue bins and wheeled paper carts and have them at the curb by 7am on your recycling day. Please put paper materials in wheeled paper recycling cart, or bag/bundle with other paper recyclables for collection.
Each residential property receiving Montgomery County-provided trash collection is also entitled to 5 bulk collections per calendar year for certain types of miscellaneous and/or bulky household trash. Bulk collections must be scheduled in advance with the County by the owner or resident.
Curbside scrap metal collections are free, and are made on your regular recycling day. However, pickups must be arranged in advance of your recycling day. Please call for more information.
