Frederick County's single stream recycling program accepts a wide range of materials; these do not have to be compacted, bundled or sorted. Simply gather recyclables, place them in a County-provided collection container and set out them out on your street's designated pick-up day.
A county-provided blue recycling cart is required for pick up; please call 301-600-2960 to request one Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm.
Residents of municipalities and those living in homeowner association-controlled areas may have curbside yard waste collection provided for them (please contact your town office or HOA for more information.) Others may wish to contact a local waste hauler as some offer yard waste collection in addition to regular trash service.
